Bob! Thank you for reading and commenting!
I can appreciate your opinion.
I have not been fooled. My perspective is different.
Race and class are intertwined. In order to understand the true distinction you have to go back in history.
Historically, many societies have used race as a basis for social stratification and the distribution of power and resources. This has resulted in systemic inequalities that have disproportionately affected certain racial groups, limiting their access to education, employment, healthcare, housing, and other resources that are necessary for social mobility.
It's plenty of creditable resources on line to support this.
As far as equity v. equality.
We can both have a loaf of bread. That is equality.
But if my loaf is rotten, that is a lack of equity. I need a fresh loaf as well.
