I appreciate your perspective, Joshua. However, it completely misses the central point of my argument. The individualistic mindset you’re referencing is precisely what I believe hinders our ability to move forward collectively as a united people. While the American experiment may have worked very well for you, it has not worked for Black people in America—or across the diaspora—as a whole.
