@James

Thanks for reading and commenting.

If I am following you, I think you are referring to me rhetorically asking the likes of Elon Musk, etc. where is an open letter against racism, xenophobia, etc.?

There have been plenty of "open letters" written by "Wealthy People of Color" and others related to several systemic issues like anti -racism, xenophobia, etc. For example, in 2020 More than 300 Black celebs signed an open letter for Hollowood to commit to anti-racist content.

I agree that it's unrealistic to expect any one person, regardless of wealth or background, to champion every cause. That is not the point. What's important is that individuals take responsibility for their actions and consider the impact they may have on others, regardless of their personal background.

Our individual experiences shape the lens through which we view the world, and as a result, our decision-making processes. Informed decisions are not solely based on data and information but also on our lived experiences. These experiences provide us with unique insights and perspectives that inform our choices and allow us to make decisions that align with our values and goals.

However, it gives me cause for concern when I witness certain groups of individuals promoting or perpetuating alarmist discourse, particularly concerning tools, systems, or laws that have the potential to generate equal opportunities and outcomes for everyone.

But again, this is beside the overall sentiment. As I argue in the article, AI (or any tech for that matter) is not the issue; we humans, as a collective species, need to address our issues.
